World Cup Draw is Set!

Thanks to SportsNet for showing the World Cup Draw from Germany today. Being German-speaking, I enjoyed it immensely, and my condolences to those who had to wait through over an hour of entertainment before they got down to business.

I'm glad that 72-year old 1954 World Cup Hero Horst Eckel didn't slip kicking the ball into the heavens (Michael Ballack did remark that the stairs were dangerous). The clothing and hair designers must have been obsessed with Charlie's Angels based on how Heidi Klum was made up. The "Bolero" film by Wolfgang Ecker was the highlight for me--I'd like to find a clip of that for my computer.

Full information about the World Cup Draw is at http://fifaworldcup.yahoo.com/06/en/w/fd/index.html
